Another way to pamper your pet, is the use of Thermo-Pet Products. They are reliable, affordable and beneficial to pets. A Thermo-Pet Bed
or mat provides warmth to relax muscles for active pets and to sooth joints & muscles for aging and arthritic pets.
Many of these products cost less to run than the average night light. Low wattage – low operating costs. That’s important in today’s world of high energy costs.
Ok so let’s spoil Fido some more. It’s a hot summer day, and with his heavy coat, Fido is much hotter than you are.
Cool him down and keep him cooler than ever with the new Cool Bed III. No electricity is required to operate the Cool bed III and these beds are attractively designed and allow a cool spot for dogs. Simply add the recommended amount of water through the easy fill cap and adjust the comfort with the easy air valve. Being extremely affordable, the Cool Bed III is the choice for any dog owner looking to offer their pet a comfy, dry, cool place to relax. Recommended for indoor and outdoor use.
So You Spoiled Your Dog! So What! – Part One
It is often said that “a dog is a man’s best friend”. Shouldn’t it be “man is a dog’s best friend”? So your dog is spoiled. Whose fault is that? Go ahead do it again. We all love to be pampered and our pets are no different. There are some things you can do to make your pet feel special.
Orthopedic pet beds
are veterinarian recommended to ease your pets painful discomforts away. You could take your dog to a doggie message therapist. But, the time and cost is not conducive to time and budget. This type of pet beds is the perfect remedy to help reduce the unrelenting strain on your dog’s achy bones and joints. Orthopedic pet beds are designed with ultra thick orthopedic foam proven to relieve aches and pains all pets begin to develop. Don’t wait to help your pet or to take preventative measures.
Most of the Orthopedic pet beds are designed to fit dog crates, but most people buy them to be placed in various rooms in the house or in the back portion of vehicles.
Pet Gates Should Restrict Pets Not People
Pet gates
are used to confine our pet to certain areas of the home, or to keep them from restricted areas where they might be in danger or where mommy just doesn’t want them to go, such as bathrooms and the kitchen. Pet gates can be a better alternative to simply closing a door to restrict or confine your Pet.
Pet gates that open are an ideal way to keep your pet out of restricted areas, while still making it easy for you to go from room to room. Many pet gates are also portable, allowing you to easily move the gate to fit your needs, such as gating the dog in a room with you while you watch a movie.
Select a gate, keep in mind your specific needs as well as the size of your dog. The width of the gates are adjustable while the height is usually not. Select a gate tall enough that your dog cannot bunny hop over it. Pet gates are designed especially for wide doorways or hallways, they feature side extensions that you can adjust to fit your needs. The latched door lets you go in or out easily…so you don’t have to take the extended pet gate down or perform acrobatics to get over it!
Most pet gates are extremely easy to install. Some gates feature pressure mounts, which require you only to fit the gate tightly inside a doorframe or room entrance. Some feature wall mounts, which require you to screw hardware to a wall or doorframe.
And finally, when choosing a gate, be sure to select one that withstands your dog’s size and behavior. Make sure that the gate cannot be tipped over/opened when your dog leans on and does not have widely spaced slats in which your dog could get his head stuck.
Carry-On Pets
Are you planning a trip using air travel? Are you taking your pet with you?
Choosing a Soft Pet Carrier for carry-on air travel is not difficult bust must be planned carefully.
Your pet should be in a suitable hard or Soft Pet Carrier. The Carrier should be small enough to stow beneath the seat directly in front of you. Your pet must stay in its carrier at all times while onboard, and be stowed under the seat during takeoff and landing.
The pet carrier must be small enough to fit under the seat and be large enough to provide enough space for the animal to turn around and lie comfortably. For small and medium sized dogs up to 20 lbs., The carrier should fit under the seat without a problem. But, for larger pets, You should check with the airlines for size limitations.
A typical Soft Carrier bag includes: Mesh panels for ventilation & visibility Storage pockets Inside Leash Clips Privacy Curtains Comfort Floor Pads Adjustable/ Removable shoulder straps Multiple entry panels and Dual Zippers. They are light weight and easy to clean and store when not in use.
Fido Needs Some Shuteye
It’s hard to think of a type of dog bed that isn’t available for purchase on the market today. They can match your furniture or theme if you choose, and some are purely for comfort, fluffy and soft-there is even a memory foam dog bed, just like the ones for people in the TV commercial where the lady jumps up and down next to the glass of wine sitting next to her on the mattress. (I really hope your dog is a teetotaler, but he might still love that memory foam bed, you never know!)
The most innovative pet beds, in my opinion, are the ones that actually make a pet feel better, even serving as a treatment method for her injuries. Cats love thermal mats, windowsill cushions, heated tunnels, and warm cots. Dogs in warm climates or breeds that tend to overheat, like the pug, will enjoy cooling beds. If your pet already has a favorite place to sleep that just needs a warming boost, there is an apparatus available with a strong resemblance to the human version-a heating pad.
WHY SHOULD I GET MY DOG AN EXERCISE PEN?
When you are traveling, whether your visiting family or friends, at a dog show or wherever you might be, keeps pets away from danger and gives them a “Yard” of Their Own. An Exercise Pen provides breathing room and visibility for your pet, and offers an easy way to manage your pet regardless of your surroundings. They are easy to transport and easy to set up, take down and store.
Most Exercise pens have eight panel construction, so they fold up into a rectangular shape for ease of transporting or storage. An exercise pen is easy to set up and you don’t need tools to build it. They are versatile and you can even have a variety of pets in them. Most pens includes ground anchors & corner Stabilizers. They have a secure double latch door access to make your pet secure .
Some exercise pens are made of Black E-Coat finish, while others are made of Acrylic Coated Gold Zinc, for long lasting protection
There is a puppy pen made especially for them. Whether transporting puppies, safeguarding them at shows, or even protecting your furniture from their sharp little teeth, puppy pens solve many needs. They Have Hygienic Floors which are elevated to keep dogs’ coats away from dirt and mess. They Won’t Pinch Puppies’ Paws. They folds flat for easy transportation and storage just as the adult pens do. They have top and side doors for easy access. The floor pans slide out and are easy to clean.

DON’T LET GROOMING YOUR DOG SCARE YOU
Caring for your dogs physical appearance is an important part of dog ownership. For this reason, quality dog grooming supplies
are absolutely essential items to have in your home. Taking your dog to the veterinarian or to a pet groomer, every time they need their nails trimmed, a haircut, or their teeth cleaned, not only isn’t financially practical, but it deprives you of the opportunity to bond with your dog.
Most dog grooming and maintenance issues are easy to take care of. They need to be done on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, so having dog grooming supplies handy will be helpful for completing the tasks at hand. Dog grooming kits are available, which include but are not limited to dog brushes and combs, hair clippers, Shears, and a handy carrying case. Nail trimmers and dog shampoo are also items which you should keep on hand.
Never us a shampoo made for people on your dog. The most common dog shampoos include flea shampoo, dandruff shampoo, allergy shampoo, scented shampoo, oatmeal shampoo and even shampoo made especially for puppies.
Scented shampoo is used to remove the smell of their dog when he’s been places you wish he hadn’t. Oatmeal shampoo helps eliminate itching due to a dry coat. All of these shampoos are available at our online pet supply store.
So Your Getting A New Puppy
Preparing for a new puppy can be a fun, and at the same time an exhausting process. Puppies require a lot of attention and have special needs for the first six months to one year of their lives. Here are a few items you will need to accommodate your new puppy.
Wire dog crate, your puppy needs a place to call his own, sleep and feel safe, in addition you need a place to put your puppy when you can’t pay attention to them.
A Dog bed, whether placing it inside the crate or somewhere else, puppies need to keep warm, and they will also associate the bed with where they should sleep later in life.
Leash, harness, collar, all the essential tools for taking your puppy for walks and for teaching them how to walk with people.
Chew toys, puppies like to chew on things, give them something to chew on and hopefully it won’t be your furniture or shoes.
Quality Puppy food and acceptable treats, of course they need to eat, and you want to reward your puppy for good behavior with treats.
Training your puppy is also important. In fact if you want your puppy to be a part your family, and not you a part of his pack, you’ll take him to class. Training classes for puppies begin at age 3 mo. And go like forever. You’ll find that it’s fun for both you and your dog.
TEMPORARY PET CONTAINMENT HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER
Soft Sided Dog Crates have been in existence for approximately 10 years. Prior to that time, wire dog crates and plastic dog crates were the only choices for those who wanted to temporarily crate their dogs.
Soft Sided Crates have many uses. They are often used for travel, when staying in a hotel or in a friends home. They are used at dog shows, at picnics, in hotel rooms or any where a dog needs to be temporarily crated.
These great versatile soft sided crates can be used both in and outdoors. They come in all shapes and sizes. They are light weight and set up in seconds. They weigh as little as 3 lbs for Small dogs and up to 20lbs for extra large dogs. They are made of light weight materials, which fold up into a flat rectangular shape for ease of transporting and storage.
Most Soft Sided Crates are made of a water resistant material and PVC mesh window screens. The tops have a reinforced flat-top design, which allows for placement of pet accessories. For some crates the top comes with a zippered flap opening for convince. The door is made of a zippered PVC mesh.
For the dog owner, the versatility, light weight, the ease of handling, transporting and storage makes the Soft Sided Crate a worthwhile investment.
House Train Your Pet Without A Hassle
A plastic dog crate provides a sense of security for your pet. It is a place where they can go whenever they need to get away from the high activity level of your home, or just want some peace and quiet time. It is a dog’s natural fondness toward dens that makes dog crates so useful to house train puppies. Because puppies will not normally soil a limited-sized ‘den,’ crates are really effective for helping puppies gain control over their bladders. Also, they help reduce the number of accidents that you will have to clean up, and cut in half the time it takes to teach puppies where they are supposed to relieve themselves.
When it comes to house training a new puppy, there is nothing that makes the training faster or easier than a puppy crate. By placing the puppy in a crate that is just the size that he or she needs to lay down and no more, house training is usually completed in about 10 to 14 days.
